Most carpets and some upholstery come from the manufacturer with a protective coating already applied. This wears off with traffic and use over time. With an application of 3M Scotchgard™, spills will bead up on the surface, providing you with more time to blot them up before they soak in.

How Is It Done?
Our IICRC-certified technicians use the Hot Water Extraction Method to professionally steam clean your carpet or upholstery. 3M Scotchgard™ is applied after the cleaning is complete. This post-treatment works best when applied to a freshly cleaned textile as it adheres better to the surface of each fiber.
Depending on the carpet or upholstery fiber type, it is then groomed in by our certified technicians. This treatment helps protect your carpet fibers from wear and permanent staining so when life happens, you’re ready!
After the treatment has dried, you’ll notice that normal spots and spills will first bead up instead of soaking right into the fibers. This gives you time to run and grab some paper towel to blot up the spill. You’ll also notice that vacuuming is more effective, again because soils are kept more on the surface of the fibers.
